Depression is

"Depression. You’re forever seeing it be everywhere you go, right? But the truth is, many of you can’t feel it. Depression to me, it’s like a black hole. There’s millions of stars (people) around you, yet you see nothing but a neverending hole getting darker and darker. A lot of the time, actually, you feel like you’re talking to a brick wall, you want to tell someone how you feel, so you hint, and no matter how many times you try, you can’t. You get nothing. You feel ignored, you feel empty, and you feel worthless. Eventually you begin to feel like giving up. Giving up trying, giving up believing and giving up hope. The hole sinks further until you reach an all time low, yet no one notices. Every day you fake a smile and you can’t help it, your body has become so used to feeling down that a smile appears. You try to show emotion, but you can’t, you just smile. Depression, it’s probably the darkest place in life to be, and the worst part of it is no one gets it, no one understands it, no one can see it." ~Demi-leigh Freeman
